20 YEAR LIMITED MATTRESS WARRANTY*

*Ozark Mountain Organic Beds, Inc.™ guarantees the brands we make Mountain Air Organic Beds™ will be replaced or repaired at our option should it be deemed defective due to faulty workmanship or structural defects within twenty (20) years of the purchase, excluding the specific limitations contained herein.

 

This warranty covers any deterioration in the cell-structure of the latex that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than the one and one half inch (1.5"), not associated with a sag in the foundation or platform. 

 

This warranty does not cover affiliate referral or 3rd party sales. It does not cover aberrations in the natural latex known as "natural variances;" i.e.: areas of minor discoloration in new latex or the natural yellowing that occurs as latex ages, horizontal tears or cracks less than 3 inches in length, lateral tears or cracks that penetrates less than the full thickness of the latex sheet, and evidence of black and/or white debris or discoloration that is deemed to be residue of the natural latex baking process. Furthermore, if the latex core of an Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ mattress has been exposed to chemical cleaners, water, fluids, direct sunlight or direct heat (from electric mattress pad, for example), such exposure will void this warranty. Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ are not responsible for any damage caused to the mattress by spills, burns, accidents, growth of mold, or other acts of nature. This warranty does not cover issues related to smell, comfort, or personal taste, rather only to issues related to material quality and workmanship.

 

Latex Layers

The core of Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ mattress is built from individual layers of organic latex. Therefore, whenever possible, structural issues or defects will be addressed one layer at a time. Within the first ten (10) years of the purchase, Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ will repair or replace the latex layer(s) or mattress casing if it is deemed defective at no charge to you. Within 11 to 20 of your purchase, Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ will, at our option, repair the latex layer(s) or mattress casing if it is deemed defective. For repairs, we will charge you a nominal handling fee of $100.00 and customer is responsible for shipping.

 

For replacement, we will charge you a prorated replacement fee, the amount to be determined by your original purchase price. For replacement during the tenth year of this warranty, the prorated replacement charge you pay will be fifty percent (50) of the original purchase price. For replacement after the eleventh year but before this warranty expires, the prorated charge you pay will increase by three.three three percent (3.33) for each subsequent year of the prorated period (i.e., 53.33% of the original purchase price if replaced during year eleven; 56.66% of the original purchase price if replaced during year twelve; up to 96.67% of the original purchase price if replaced during year twenty, etc.).

 

You will be responsible for all shipping and handling on warranty claims, regardless if they are approved or not. 

 

Weight Limitations

Be aware that we normally advise against configuring a mattress with two or more soft layers for an individual 200 lbs or more. If an individual with this body mass orders a mattress configured in this manner, this circumstance will be taken into consideration when processing a warranty claim and may affect said claim. We also advise against three or more soft layers in any circumstance. This circumstance will also be taken into consideration when processing a warranty claim and may affect said claim. 

 

Mattress Support and Foundations

Our mattresses are designed to rest on a rigid, breathable, non-spring slatted foundation, an adjustable bed base, a slatted platform bed or foundation with a maximum spacing of three (3") between slats, and the slats musts be wooden and 5 inches wide. The bed or foundation must must have 2 center support beams for Queen, King & Cal-King mattresses. This warranty and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted on foundations like these. Therefore, if you use inappropriate foundations, traditional plywood, plastic, wire or box springs with our mattress, such use will void this warranty and all other warranties.

 

Non-Transferability

This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the mattress and is not transferable.

 

Transportation

If Ozark Mountain Organic Beds, Inc.™ deems the mattress not defective, all transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are additional to any other charges. In the event an item needs to be returned to Ozark Mountain Organic Beds, Inc.™, that item needs to be shipped to Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ within ten (10) days of the request.

 

Proof of Purchase

You must provide proof of purchase to Ozark Mountain Organic Beds™ for any warranty claim or layer exchange. You must be the original owner, as the warranty or layer exchange program is not transferable.
